Welcome 2019!

January means CALDECOTT BOOKS!

The 2019 CALDECOTT Award Committee is reviewing books published in 2018 for the 2019 Awards.
The 2019 award winners will be announced on Monday, January 28, 2019 at 8:00am (PT) from the Washington State Convention Center in Seattle.

It was great to have CLUBS on Friday!

The CRAFT Club and the LEGO club met in the 2/3 classroom.

Science exploration keeps us all curious and wondering!

 There were interesting results!

It feels great to be back in the classroom!

Happy 2019!

Celebrating Saturnalia

One of the most wonderful perks of being at a school that is
 "Small by Design
is being included in events across the grade levels.
We have been exceptionally fortunate to have been included with the Middle School Latin class.
Aside from helping the 8th graders produce a movie in Latin,
Mr. Silbereis invited the class to participate in their
SATURNALIA Celebration.
They made candles, decorated cookies and sang
Christmas carols in Latin!

Happy Holidays from a very special school!
